I have been trawling the Net for ages - looking for information and tips - whether I am looking for an exotic thai recipe or some information about breast cancer statistics. Many sites have what I am looking for. The trouble is you have to search amidst a ton of ads.

This targetwoman information portal has the minimum number of ads and has more information per pixel than most of the other sites. Good work.
My only complaint is the site is a bit slow.
