Aeons ago, the universe was not as it is today. A great realm known
as Torial existed. The plane that was the universe had no beginning,
no end. Yet darkness lurked in unwatched corners. Nazroth's hatred
and malice sired a new realm of shadows, chaos, and destruction.
War was unleashed and Torial broke apart under the violent stress
as Good and Evil fought…
And now we live in a New World, or perhaps I should say... Worlds..
Forgotten Dimensions is a highly modified ROM/ROT combination
MUD. Feel free and log on and totally forget about life in our quiet
atmosphere. Create a character that will help you get lost in a
world of Fantasy where Dragons fly through the skies and Magic is
so very real. Humans aren't the only sentient beings and Nature is
still a precious thing that will defend itself if it has to.
Stand on the side of good, evil or neutrality. Join in the role-
play of a world where just about anything is possible and where
the Immortals aren't just rumors. Immortals who don't base their
rulership on fear and destruction. (Not unless it's rp anyway.)
Become an adventurer and one day perhaps even a hero.
Although small, the playerbase is very loyal and rather interested
in roleplaying and player killing. The mud has normal questing,
area quests and arena. Runs are under construction. Further more
the mud is still searching for people who are interested in building.
The world needs to grow some more so the planets can be filled and
the nexus opened so travel to other worlds can finally be launched.
The mud has two tiers of 101 levels, 9 unique first tier classes and
18 unique second tier classes. There are 22 different races and 4
clans have been opened with several more on the way. For newbies
there is a newbie area to start in and additional support is given by
the mud's fansite created by a few loyal players as repayment for
the good times they had. #forgotten_dimensions chatroom on IRC;
Forestnet and Darkmyst servers (random server) for more game fun
and help.
