Inferno is a multi-user text-based on-line role-playing game based on a world where the kingdom of light is eternally at war with the kingdom of darkness, both ruled by the Emperor of Twilight, reaching new heights in detail, playability, variety, complexity, and continuity. Inferno's game mechanics, social structure, history, and character development system are designed to
provide years of enjoyment, excitement, achievement, and role-playing fun for players.
Try us for free for 30 days and then choose to pay a modest monthly fee for guild membership, where your character will find enhanced training, political intrigue, and camaraderie.
Rather keep it low-key and carve your own path? Play for FREE as a guildless citizen of the lands, without allegiance, oaths or established purposes save those that you choose to fit your own whims.
When we started Inferno we wanted to create the type of game that had none of the problems involving game balance, lack of detail, lack of continuity, and a poor roleplaying environment. We succeeded. If you're looking for roleplay in a world where "in-character" means full-tilt, full-time, all the time, give Inferno a try.

I have played Inferno for around a year now. Inferno has gone through some changes within and without the game during that time. Internally, the game is balanced and reasonably consistant. Players are unusally highly committed to the game and to the Role play environment within the game. The three different alignments; dark, twilight, and light, offer different player run societies to play within.
Recently, the game has been turned over to a group of players to run. This was partly due to problems with player relations with the GMs. After the changes in the makeup of the lead GMs, the Inferno players are working on improving the player environment. With one exception, this is going well.
What makes a game good or bad is the players. We think we are pretty good. We will be better if you join us. Come join our circle of Inferno friends from all over the world. Come explore the depth of this game called Inferno with us.
